Clara Bellum is a character of whimsical fantasy and sweet dreams. Some people see the innocence of a lamb, the earthy maternal quality of a cow and others see the strength and fortitude of a donkey. Whatever you choose to see, I hope Clara brings you a smile.
Clara is made of collage paintings layered over a new background painting. All are my originals. Each Clara is one-of-a-kind. The name Clara Bellum came to me in a moment of laughter. Laughter has amazing healing and restorative properties. I love taking Clara to my art shows just to hear the laughter! Give a gift of laughter and tell someone you know about Clara. It is fun to watch as people see beyond her first appearance and grasp her humour.
